Everyone who comes to CASE is allocated their own Welfare Officer. The Welfare Officer is a central person to give help and support about anything which happens in CASE or outside of CASE – for example with health, safety, living independently or benefits.
The Welfare team are available throughout the day for trainees or parents/carers and professionals to contact as they need. They help with everything from attending appointments with or on behalf of individuals, helping to signpost to appropriate services, or supporting people to attend appointments themselves. The Welfare team also manage a housing related support contract, where they assist a small number of individuals to maintain their own tenancies.
The Welfare team supports across a wide range of areas related to learning disabilities.
If you have any queries then they are here to support…"if we don’t know, then we’ll probably know someone who does!"
