The annual Hull In Bloom awards are organised by Hull City Council. It is open to residents, schools, community groups, allotment holders, pubs and commercial premises.
Steve Rusling, marketing manager for Case, said: "They have been so happy about it. It's a real achievement for them because these are the people that don't normally get recognised in the local community.
On Wednesday (20th September), CASE threw a celebratory barbecue to honour the trainees' standout win and Mr Rusling could not be prouder of their achievements.
"They do try so, so hard. They are down from 9am to 3pm for five days a week. It doesn't matter what the weather is, they will be there regardless.
"It's so great for them to be recognised for their efforts."
