Looking At Different Art Movements And Learning From The Style Of Art Used
These projects are more open to a variety of students, since specific artists are not important, but rather the overall visual style and aesthetic of the movement chosen. Students can also choose their own, more personal subject matter, resulting in a more personal response.
Movements Used To Date:
- Cubism; Students look at both, Synthetic and Analytical Cubism to influence their ownwork as well as, creating their own ‘CASE’, cubist influenced Self-Portrait.
- Fauvism; Students can experiment with false colour and experiment with colourful ways of representing light and dark.
- Futurism; Students can experiment with the idea of creating the illusion of movement in their artwork.
