Background

Mouaz moved to the UK in 2015 and quickly became known for his great sense of humour and ability to make people smile. He enjoys learning and takes part in a variety of departments at CASE, always bringing a positive attitude.

Skills Development

English is Mouaz’s second language, and he continues to build confidence in reading and writing. He already speaks English very well and is always keen to improve.

In our Catering department, Mouaz has made fantastic progress. He’s learning to handle money, use the till, and complete practical tasks such as hanging washing and doing laundry. He’s also gaining independence in the kitchen — making simple snacks, baking bread, preparing biscuits, and even mastering meringues!

Looking Ahead

Mouaz is currently working towards his Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate. He’s learning about food safety, hygiene standards, and how to follow procedures used in professional kitchens. His understanding of the importance of these practices is growing every day.
