About Us
Founded in 1985 by families and carers of adults with learning disabilities, CASE Training was built on a shared belief: that every individual deserves the opportunity to lead an independent and fulfilling life. This principle continues to guide everything we do.
We are a well-established and registered charity (Charity No. 1051587) based in the heart of Hull. Our services support adults aged 18 and over living in Hull and the wider East Riding of Yorkshire. CASE offers a wide range of carefully tailored sessions designed to build confidence, skills, and independence.
Our sessions are delivered by dedicated trainers and activity workers with extensive experience supporting adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and associated conditions. We also work with individuals who live with physical, sensory, and mental health conditions, including autism, ADHD, and Down’s Syndrome.
At CASE, we focus on what everyone can do—helping them gain skills, grow in confidence, and live more independently.
Our Values - The CASE way
At CASE Training, both our trainers and trainees take pride in living by our CASE Values – values that were shaped by our community and are reflected in everything we do. These shared principles create a happy, safe, and empowering environment for all our friends. While we champion independent thinking and decision-making, our CASE Values offer a supportive framework for moments when confidence may falter.
They are more than words – they are a way of life.
Our Mission
At CASE Training, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live an independent, fulfilling life. With the right support, this is entirely possible.
We are committed to enhancing the life choices of adults with learning disabilities by providing high-quality training, personalised support, and meaningful opportunities.
