Training adults with learning disabilities to lead an independent and fulfilling life
We are CASE Training Services, a learning disability services day centre for adults aged 16+ in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.
About Us
CASE Training learning disability services were founded in 1985 by families and carers of adults with learning disabilities. Our founders believed that every individual is entitled to an independent and fulfilling life, and we base everything we do around this principle today.
We are a well-established and registered charity (no. 1051587) based in the heart of Hull. Our work involves delivering learning disability support sessions to adults aged 16+ residing in Hull or the wider area of East Riding of Yorkshire.
Our carefully tailored sessions include catering, creative arts, discovery room, grow, functional skills, ECHP, health and wellbeing, ICT and independent living.
All of these sessions are led by trainers and activity workers who are highly experienced in supporting adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities including dyslexia, dyspraxia, and dysgraphia. Many of the individuals we train also live with physical, sensory, and mental disabilities including autism, ADHD, or Down’s Syndrome.

Our Values
Both our trainers and trainees take pride in our CASE Values – they helped to shape them, and now they live and breathe them! We believe that having a set of shared values is pivotal to creating a happy, safe and empowering environment for our friends. Whilst we fully support and encourage independent thinking and acting – from time to time, we do question whether we are doing the right thing. Our CASE values are helpful prompts for friends who find themselves needing a little confidence support.
Our Mission
At CASE Training learning disability services, we believe that every individual is entitled to an independent and fulfilling life – and that with the right support, they can achieve it! We are dedicated to improving the life choices of adults with learning disabilities through the provision of high-quality training, support, and employment opportunities.
