CASE starts for our trainees at 9am but if anyone arrives early then our canteen is open from 8.30am to come and chat to other trainees before sessions start.
Workshops start at 9am where we deliver a wide variety of courses and workshops which are practical, fun and with embedded opportunities to learn skills such as numeracy and literacy. Individuals can choose topics of interest to them.
There is a 15 minute break at 10.30am.
Our trainees in the catering team serve hot and cold food and drinks. A variety of options are available enabling individuals to achieve a programme tailored to meet their needs.
Lunch is 12 – 12.30pm. Our restaurant is available for all trainees to stay and have a very reasonably priced meal, or eat a packed lunch if they wish. Independent trainees can visit the town centre, just on our doorstep, which is great for developing life skills.
We feel that the social opportunities available for individuals during these break times are really important, which is why all individuals get this opportunity to participate.
Trainees are supported throughout lunch.
Sessions resume at 12.30-3.00pm
Transport can come any time from around 3pm. Staff are always available to support our trainees until transport departs.
Welfare staff are available throughout the day for anyone to come and speak about any issues or get any help, whether this is something in CASE or outside of CASE. The welfare staff are available for trainees, parents or professionals.
